# Loop Video: Online Video Looper to Repeat Clips

Repeat a video 2 to 50 times or loop it to an exact duration in one MP4.

## How it works

1. Add the MP4, MOV, or WebM clip you want to repeat.
2. Choose a repeat count (2 to 50 times) or a target duration in seconds, plus an optional crossfade.
3. Run Loop video and download one continuous MP4.

## Repeating short clips into continuous MP4 videos

Audo’s online video looper repeats MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, and AVI clips up to 2 GB into a single continuous MP4 without an account, with complete loops up to 10 minutes free, 5 times a day, and no sign-up. Short visualizer loops, product turntables, b-roll backgrounds, and social clips often need to play several times in a row on platforms that stop after a single pass or require a minimum video length.

Instead of copying and pasting the same clip dozens of times on a heavy desktop timeline, you can repeat a video by count (2 to 50×) or by exact output duration, with optional picture-and-sound crossfades at every join.

Tool: Loop video (`loop_video`). Price: 1 credit a minute — $0.01/min ($0.60/hr), with no subscription — of input for whole files, charged only when a job succeeds.

## Free API

```bash
curl -F file=@clip.mp4 https://audo.ai/api/try/loop-video -D response.headers -o response.body
```

Read response.headers and response.body before naming media. Handle 202, 200 JSON and errors with the complete response client at https://audo.ai/docs/api?utm_source=markdown&utm_medium=agent#responses.

Free for the first 10 minutes of each file, 10 times a day per person, with no key or account. Uploads up to 10 GB, 2 at once from one address. The response is the result itself; a job that runs longer than about 30 seconds returns 202 with a link to check on it. With an API key (`-H "Authorization: Bearer $AUDO_API_KEY"`), omitting free runs the whole file with credits if the balance covers it, otherwise the free portion if quota remains. Set free=true to prohibit spending; for paid whole files use free=false with an approved positive max_credits. A free result cut short comes with finishUrl (and the Audo-Finish-Url header when the response is the file itself): give it to the person, who pays there (from $5, no sign-up), and the whole file runs; keep checking the status link, whose finishedBy names the whole-file job and its own status link. ## Options

Form fields with the same names as the MCP tool's inputs:

- `times`: Number of repeats, 2 to 50. Default 2 when to_seconds is absent.
- `to_seconds`: Loop to this exact duration instead of a repeat count, up to 10 hours.
- `crossfade_ms`: Picture and sound crossfade at each seam, in milliseconds. Must be shorter than half the input.

## Languages

Any language: it works on the sound, not the words.

## From an assistant (MCP)

Add https://audo.ai/mcp and sign in (setup for each assistant: https://audo.ai/setup.md). The tool is `loop_video`:

> Repeats a video 2 to 50 times or until a chosen duration, with an optional picture and sound crossfade at each seam. The output must fit the 10-hour limit. Free use requires the complete loop to fit within 10 minutes. It costs 1 credit a minute of the result, charged only if the job succeeds. Returns the result with download links, or job_id for get_job if it takes longer.

Example: "Use Audo to loop video from clip.mp4."

## Questions

**How do I repeat a video several times in one file?** Choose Times and enter a whole number from 2 to 50. Audo’s video looper writes every repetition into a single MP4 file, so the video repeats automatically even in players, slides, or social feeds that do not have a loop button. Setting 2 plays the clip twice in total.

**Can I make a video loop for an exact number of seconds or minutes?** Yes. Switch to Target duration and enter how many seconds the finished video should last. Audo repeats the clip enough times to reach that length and trims the final pass cleanly at the target time—ideal for presentation backgrounds, digital signage, or stream starting screens.

**How does the crossfade option smooth out the loop seam?** When you enter a crossfade in milliseconds, the end of each pass dissolves into the start of the next while blending the audio tracks together. Set 0 ms for a hard cut between repeats, or a short crossfade (up to half the clip’s duration) to soften a jump at the seam.

**Why is a crossfaded loop slightly shorter than repeats multiplied by clip length?** Each crossfade overlaps the tail of one copy with the head of the next. Three 4-second clips joined with two 0.5-second crossfades produce an 11-second MP4. When you loop to a target duration, Audo accounts for those overlaps automatically so the output still reaches your requested time.

**How can I make a seamless ping-pong loop?** First turn your clip into a forward-and-back boomerang with Reverse video so the last frame returns to the starting position, then upload that boomerang here to repeat it as many times as you need. Or if you need a small silent image animation for chat or docs, use Video to GIF.

**How are long video loops priced and limited?** Pricing is based on the length of the finished looped MP4: $0.01 per output minute ($0.60 an hour), rounded up once. Complete loops up to 10 minutes long run free, 5 times a day, and paid outputs can run up to 10 hours.

**Is it free?** Yes. Audo makes complete loops of up to 10 minutes free, 10 times a day, without an account. The whole file costs $0.01 a minute ($0.60 an hour), charged only on success. No subscription. See pricing.
