# Privacy policy

Audo AI ("Audo", "we") runs audo.ai and is responsible for your personal data there. Questions or requests: support@audo.ai.

## What we collect

- **Account:** your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google. Your answer to what you'll use Audo for, if you give one.
- **Files:** the audio, video, and text you upload, and the results we make from them, such as transcripts.
- **Usage:** the jobs you run, their prices, your credits and purchases, your API keys, and the assistants you connect.
- **Technical data:** your IP address, browser, and device, and a cookie that counts free uses. Error reports when something breaks.
- **Payments:** Stripe collects your payment details. We see the amount, the result, and your country, not your card number.
- **Analytics:** how people use the site. See the [cookie notice](https://audo.ai/cookies).
- **Messages:** what you send us when you write to support.

## Why we use it

You need an email address to have an account. Everything else is optional, or needed only for the feature that uses it. We don't make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similar effects.

## Who receives it

- **Service providers** that host and run Audo for us, store files, send email, report errors, provide analytics, and provide AI processing for some tools, such as transcription. They act on our instructions, under contracts that protect your data. Depending on the provider, an AI provider may keep data for a limited time under its own terms.
- **Stripe**, which sells you credits as the seller of record and handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.
- **Authorities**, when the law requires it.
- **A buyer or successor**, if Audo's business is sold or merged.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

## International transfers

We and some of our service providers are in the United States. When your data leaves the EU, the UK, or Switzerland, we protect it with the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the UK's addendum to them, or another lawful safeguard. Ask us for a copy.

## How long we keep it

- **Files and results:** deleted 24 hours after they're created. Results of free runs: after 1 hour. You can delete them sooner.
- **Account and usage:** while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete it and your files at once.
- **Free-use counts and rate limits:** up to 3 days.
- **Error reports:** up to 90 days.
- **Analytics:** up to 14 months.
- **Records the law requires**, such as for tax: as long as the law requires.

## Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to:

- see the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy to take elsewhere;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- withdraw your consent, without affecting what we did before;
- know what we collect, why, and who receives it (California).

Write to support@audo.ai. You can delete your account and files yourself in [settings](https://audo.ai/settings). We answer within a month (45 days in California). We may need to confirm who you are. Someone you authorize can ask for you. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

If you're in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

## Children

Audo isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, tell us and we'll delete it.

## Changes

We'll update this page when our practices change, and tell account holders by email about important changes.
