# Connect your assistant

Add Audo once, then ask in plain words. The MCP server is https://audo.ai/mcp, and it signs you in with OAuth. Clients that can't sign in can send an API key as a bearer token.

## ChatGPT

1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode. It's for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu.
2. Open chatgpt.com/plugins, click +, and create an app with this address:

   ```
   https://audo.ai/mcp
   ```
3. Sign in to Audo when ChatGPT asks.
4. In a chat, choose Developer mode from the + menu and pick Audo. Then attach a file and ask.

Files: Attach a file to the chat and ChatGPT hands it to Audo. For large files, or in the mobile app, ChatGPT gives you an upload link instead.

## Claude

One click: [Add to Claude](https://claude.ai/customize/connectors?modal=add-custom-connector&connectorName=Audo&connectorUrl=https%3A%2F%2Faudo.ai%2Fmcp)

1. Click Add to Claude, then Add. It opens Claude's custom connector form with Audo filled in.
2. Or add it by hand: open Customize, then Connectors, click +, choose Add custom connector, and paste this address:

   ```
   https://audo.ai/mcp
   ```
3. Sign in to Audo when Claude asks.
4. In a chat, turn on Audo from the + menu under Connectors, then ask.

Files: An upload box appears in the chat. Works on the web, desktop, and mobile, on every plan (Free plans can add one custom connector). On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds Audo in Organization settings, then members connect it.

## Cowork

One click: [Add to Claude](https://claude.ai/customize/connectors?modal=add-custom-connector&connectorName=Audo&connectorUrl=https%3A%2F%2Faudo.ai%2Fmcp)

1. Add Audo to Claude. Cowork uses the connectors on your Claude account, so there's nothing else to set up.
2. Or add it by hand: open Customize, then Connectors, click +, choose Add custom connector, and paste this address:

   ```
   https://audo.ai/mcp
   ```
3. Sign in to Audo when Claude asks, then give Cowork the task.

Allow audo.ai once (Claude's settings): To let Cowork upload and download files itself, turn on network egress in Settings, then Capabilities. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds audo.ai to the allowed domains instead.

Files: Cowork uploads your files with curl when network egress allows audo.ai. Otherwise it shows an upload box, or gives you an upload link.

## Claude Code

1. Add Audo from your terminal:

   ```bash
   claude mcp add --transport http --scope user audo https://audo.ai/mcp
   ```
2. Sign in. Run /mcp in Claude Code, pick audo, and approve in your browser.

Allow audo.ai once (~/.claude/settings.json): This turns on Claude Code's sandbox: commands run without asking, and they can reach audo.ai. Merge it with what's already in the file.

```json
{
  "sandbox": {
    "enabled": true,
    "network": {
      "allowedDomains": [
        "audo.ai"
      ]
    }
  }
}
```

Files: Claude Code uploads your files to Audo with curl, and saves each result next to the original.

## Codex

1. Add Audo:

   ```bash
   codex mcp add audo --url https://audo.ai/mcp
   ```
2. Sign in:

   ```bash
   codex mcp login audo
   ```

Allow audo.ai once (~/.codex/rules/audo.rules): This lets Codex run curl without asking, outside its sandbox, for any address. Restart Codex after saving it.

```
prefix_rule(pattern = ["curl"], decision = "allow", justification = "Upload and download files at audo.ai")
```

Files: Codex uploads your files to Audo with curl, and saves each result next to the original.

## Cursor

One click: [Add to Cursor](cursor://anysphere.cursor-deeplink/mcp/install?name=audo&config=eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczovL2F1ZG8uYWkvbWNwIn0%3D)

1. Click Add to Cursor, then Install. Or add Audo to ~/.cursor/mcp.json yourself:

   ```json
   {
     "mcpServers": {
       "audo": {
         "url": "https://audo.ai/mcp"
       }
     }
   }
   ```
2. Sign in. Cursor shows a Connect button next to Audo in its MCP settings the first time.

Allow audo.ai once (~/.cursor/sandbox.json): This lets commands in Cursor's sandbox reach audo.ai. Merge it with what's already in the file.

```json
{
  "networkPolicy": {
    "allow": [
      "*.audo.ai"
    ]
  }
}
```

Files: Cursor uploads your files to Audo with curl, and saves each result next to the original.

## Gemini CLI

1. Add Audo:

   ```bash
   gemini mcp add --transport http --scope user audo https://audo.ai/mcp
   ```
2. Sign in. Run /mcp auth audo in Gemini CLI and approve in your browser.

Allow audo.ai once (~/.gemini/policies/audo.toml): This lets Gemini CLI run curl without asking, for any address.

```toml
[[rule]]
toolName = "run_shell_command"
commandPrefix = "curl"
decision = "allow"
priority = 100
```

Files: Gemini CLI uploads your files to Audo with curl, and saves each result next to the original.

## VS Code

One click: [Add to VS Code](vscode:mcp/install?%7B%22name%22%3A%22audo%22%2C%22type%22%3A%22http%22%2C%22url%22%3A%22https%3A%2F%2Faudo.ai%2Fmcp%22%7D)

1. Click Add to VS Code, then Install. Or run this:

   ```bash
   code --add-mcp '{"name":"audo","type":"http","url":"https://audo.ai/mcp"}'
   ```
2. Sign in. VS Code opens your browser the first time it connects.

Allow audo.ai once (VS Code's settings.json): This lets agent mode run curl without asking, for any address.

```json
{
  "chat.tools.terminal.autoApprove": {
    "curl": true
  }
}
```

Files: Agent mode uploads your files to Audo with curl, and saves each result next to the original.

## Copilot CLI

1. Add Audo:

   ```bash
   copilot mcp add --transport http audo https://audo.ai/mcp
   ```
2. Sign in. Run /mcp auth in Copilot CLI and approve in your browser.

Allow audo.ai once (Copilot CLI's start command): Starting it this way lets Copilot run curl without asking, for any address.

```bash
copilot --allow-tool='shell(curl:*)'
```

Files: Copilot CLI uploads your files to Audo with curl, and saves each result next to the original.

## Antigravity

1. Add Audo to ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json: Open it from the agent panel's … menu: MCP Servers, then Manage MCP Servers, then View raw config.

   ```json
   {
     "mcpServers": {
       "audo": {
         "serverUrl": "https://audo.ai/mcp"
       }
     }
   }
   ```
2. Sign in. In Settings, open Customizations and click Authenticate next to audo. Approve in your browser, paste the code it shows back into Antigravity, and click Submit.

Files: Antigravity uploads your files to Audo with curl, and saves each result next to the original.

## Zed

1. Add Audo to Zed's settings.json: Open it with the command zed: open settings file. Or open Settings, then AI, then MCP Servers, and choose Add Remote Server.

   ```json
   {
     "context_servers": {
       "audo": {
         "url": "https://audo.ai/mcp"
       }
     }
   }
   ```
2. Sign in. Zed asks you to sign in to Audo when it connects. A green dot means it's ready.

Allow audo.ai once (Zed's settings.json): This lets the agent run curl commands for audo.ai without asking. Merge it with what's already in the file.

```json
{
  "agent": {
    "tool_permissions": {
      "tools": {
        "terminal": {
          "always_allow": [
            {
              "pattern": "^curl\\s+.*audo\\.ai"
            }
          ]
        }
      }
    }
  }
}
```

Files: Zed's agent uploads your files to Audo with curl, and saves each result next to the original.

## OpenCode

1. Add Audo to ~/.config/opencode/opencode.json:

   ```json
   {
     "$schema": "https://opencode.ai/config.json",
     "mcp": {
       "audo": {
         "type": "remote",
         "url": "https://audo.ai/mcp",
         "enabled": true
       }
     }
   }
   ```
2. Sign in:

   ```bash
   opencode mcp auth audo
   ```

Allow audo.ai once (~/.config/opencode/opencode.json): This lets OpenCode run curl commands for audo.ai without asking. Merge it with what's already in the file.

```json
{
  "permission": {
    "bash": {
      "curl *audo.ai*": "allow"
    }
  }
}
```

Files: OpenCode uploads your files to Audo with curl, and saves each result next to the original.

## Raycast

1. In Raycast, run the Install MCP Server command.
2. Name it Audo, choose HTTP, paste this address, set OAuth to Dynamic, and press Install MCP Server:

   ```
   https://audo.ai/mcp
   ```
3. Choose Sign In, and approve in your browser.

Files: Raycast gives you an upload link for each file, and a download link for the result.

## How files get to Audo

1. **In the chat.** Claude and Cowork show an upload box in the conversation. In ChatGPT on the web or desktop, attach the file to your message.
2. **From your computer.** Coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Gemini CLI upload the file themselves with curl, and save each result next to the original. Allow audo.ai once so they don't ask every time.
3. **With an upload link.** Any assistant can give you a link to an upload page. Open it and drop the file: no sign-in, any size, and it carries on if the connection drops. Or upload on this site, and your assistant finds it in your files.

Every link is on audo.ai, so allowing that one address is enough.

## No MCP? Use curl

```bash
curl -F file=@interview.wav https://audo.ai/api/try/remove-noise -o interview-clean.wav
```

Free for the first part of each file, with no key. With an API key, the same request processes the whole file with credits. Every tool: https://audo.ai/llms.txt
