1. Upload your audio
Upload your audio to the audacity software
2. Create a noise profile
Audacity requires you to isolate the background noise to create a “noise profile”. When you insert your audio on audacity, you might notice a straight line on the screen. These are probably background noises that were captured while recording. You are required to select that part with the selecting tool.
After selecting background noise, go up to <Effect> and click on <Noise reduction>.
Once you have done this process click on <Get noise profile> to filter out the background noise.
3. Apply Noise Reduction
You have to select the entire track, go back to noise reduction again to remove noise. You can select the amount of background noise you want to remove.
