About noise removal

It reduces steady noise, such as a fan, air conditioning, hum, hiss, traffic, and wind, and sudden noise, such as a barking dog, clattering dishes, or chatter in a restaurant. The examples above are a busy restaurant, a street, a barking dog, and a windy day. Audo's noise reduction only takes noise out and adds nothing, so your voice stays as it was recorded.

To isolate a speaking voice from background chatter, music, and outdoor sounds, use Voice isolator. No. Audo only filters out the noise and adds nothing, so your voice stays as it was. The volume can change: after cleaning, the whole file is set to a standard level. Switch off Set a standard volume to keep your original level.

Does it work on video?

Yes. Audo cleans the sound in your video and leaves the picture as it is, or you can use Remove noise from video.

My microphone picks up background noise: can it fix that?

Yes, after you record. It cleans the recording, not the live sound, so it isn't noise cancellation for calls, meetings, or streams.
