Editing video and audio in one place
Audo's free online video and audio editor runs in your browser with no install, no watermark, and no sign-up. Drop an MP4, MOV, or WebM video or an MP3, WAV, M4A, or FLAC recording, or press Record, and it stays on your device until you use one of Audo's tools.
Edits happen at once: cuts and trims on the tracks or in the words, each one restorable. Sound fixes are switches you can hear, such as Audio enhancer or Remove noise, run once on the whole file, and Loudness sets it to the level of podcasts or YouTube, as Boost volume does. Captions, text, and a new shape for TikTok or YouTube sit on the picture, where you move them.
When it's ready, one Export applies everything in a fixed order: the sound first, then the cuts, then the picture's shape, captions, and text. For files of many hours, Cut audio trims them on Audo.
Questions
Is it free?
Editing is, always, with no sign-up: cuts, trims, and an MP3 or WAV of your sound are made in your browser. Audo's tools in the editor, such as Remove noise or captions, show their price on their button before anything runs, with a free part signed out.
What types of video and audio files does the editor support?
Audo's online video editor and audio editor opens MP4, MOV, and WebM videos alongside MP3, WAV, M4A, and FLAC audio files, or lets you record right inside it. You can also turn voice memos into uncompressed files with M4A to WAV, pull sound from iPhone clips with MOV to MP3, or switch containers in Convert audio.
How do I trim my videos online?
Drag the grips at the start and end of the tracks while Cut is picked, or drag across a part and press Delete to take it out. Each cut leaves a small amber mark where it was, and a press on the mark puts it back.
Can I edit a video by its words?
Yes. Start in the Text-based editor to transcribe a file and open its words directly, or switch to Transcript here. Audo writes down what was said and who said it. Select words to cut their passage from the recording; filler words and long pauses can be reviewed in Cut too.
What formats can I export?
Export makes MP4, MOV, or WebM video, a GIF, a still frame, or the sound as MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, or Opus, with captions on the video or as an SRT file. Sound alone as MP3 or WAV is made in your browser, for free. For sound alone, there's also the Audio editor.
Can I undo a change?
Yes, any of them. Every change is kept as a version named by what it did, such as Cut 12 filler words, and History plays an earlier one and puts it back on top, so nothing is ever lost.
